HOW THE NEW LIVEROBE APP WORKS WITH THE SERVICE MODEL

What is it?

Our new model  is designed for busy women/men who own a huge wardrobe but don’t use most of it, however have no time to sell it properly Therefore, if you would like to get rid of the items you don’t need anymore, we provide you a full end to end  service. You only need to pack the clothes, book a GLS courier through our app and wait for the pick-up, so the item gets delivered to our warehouse. Your items will go through quality check by our team, and we will decide what can go for sale in order to keep the standards for the buyers. The items which qualify our platform, will be photographed by us, to ensure good quality pictures asmwell. We have 5 working days to upload the pictures to your profile, then it’s your job to tag and provide description for the item. Then the sale can start.

However nothing is left behind though, all items which will not qualify our standards (see „What we accept”), will either go to our charity partners which accepts clothes,  recycling with our partners or will be used again by upcycling designers to make something new out of it. 

You also have the automated charity option, where you can donate to any of our partner organizations the amount decided by you.

How can I sign up?

Create an account and provide all of the required information the system asks for through the sign-up flow. Please  connect your credit card aswell to be able to start selling or buying through LiveRobe. You can sign up via email, with your Facebook profile or with Apple ID. After your registration, you can start booking the GLS courier in case you want to sell. You can browse the marketplace as a guest user, but should you wish to buy we will ask a few information of you.

What are the new services included?

If you would like to get rid of the items you don’t need anymore, we provide you a full end to end service. Is it available in my country?

Yes, LiveRobe is available for EU trading including the payment and shipping method. Please note the default currency in the App is HUF, but the seller can determine the currency in which they wish to sell their items. In the case of your products, you can show the price in a different currency and you can change your listed items’ currency any time in your profile settings.

Is international shipping eligible?

Currently we are able to ship items to the EU region if you wish to buy.  As  a seller we can accept Items for sale from the CEE region in these countries: Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. From these countries you can use are service.

Shall I sign up with Facebook?

You can finish your sign-up flow with your Facebook profile instead of email sign-up if you prefer. However, please re-check under your Profile that the system has your current, proper email address, because you will be notified about the orders via email.

How can I delete my account?

In our terms and conditions, you accept that until the service is due, and you paid, your account can’t be deleted. 

As soon as your service ended, you can delete your account by requesting the cancellation via email – team@liverobe.com

How does the payment work?

We work with STRIPE, which means we accept several credit card types the system allows (Visa, Mastercard etc. click here https://stripe.com/docs/payments/cards/supported-card-brands) In case you are a seller, when you sold an item, the amount will be visible on your stripe account after 14 days. (because the buyer has 14 days for returns). After, with one easy click you can transfer that money to your bank account.

What are the fees of the service?

As a buyer, if you just want to scroll and buy new items the app is free to use.

For sellers, we deduct 15% commission after your sale and we also charge a package fee for the service. Please check here for more details on your fees as a seller. 

What are the rules?

In order to use LiveRobe mobile app  you have to be over 18 years old and eligible to pay by credit card. By reading, understanding, and accepting our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, you can start to use LiveRobe. Please be aware of the following regulations and information:

Selling process and rules

  • You can book the courier to pick your items through the app. Please make sure to pack your items properly before you give it to the courier. 
  • Please make sure to be home when the GLS courier arrives, as you have the chance to select the best possible timing for you. 
  • Kindly make sure to check our quality standards what we accept and do not accept on the platform in order to avoid confusion and any disappointment. 
  • Make sure to read our Terms and conditions and Privacy Policy 
  • In the comment section  in the app, please make sure to keep polite and accurate tone of voice. We are all just humans, and this platform is not for bullies and judgements, these can have legal consequences or having your account disabled.
  • When you receive the email that your products have been uploaded to your profile, please make sure to add a fair price on it and add all the accurate tags to help your buyers find your products. You have 5 days to do that according to our Terms and Conditions. 
  • In case you want to offer any amount for charity as a buyer or seller, please make sure to set up accordingly. 
  • The service fee will be deducted from your account as soon as you book the courier.  This amount includes the shipment and the service fee for 6 a months period. 
  • After 5 months of receiving an item,  we will check with you what you have sold and what is left in your stock via email.  We kindly ask you to reply that email within 5 working days. We will list your options in that email. See here 
  • Any cases of fraud can have legal consequences (police or court proceedings), and LiveRobe is always obligated to provide all the data to the authorities in these cases. Fraud cases can be but not limited to: sending fake items, illegal items, items you do not actually own, use the platform for money laundering, or to support illicit activities.
  • Any bullying, obscene, sexual, and/or violent content (such as comment, description, profile picture etc.) is prohibited and may have legal consequences or result in having your account disabled.

QUALITY STANDARDS - WHAT WE ACCEPT AND WHAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT

Please make sure to read .–……. before the below. That is our main policy on what we accept. Before you pack your clothes please make sure to read all this.

What items are welcome on our platform?

Please check product categories here. Within the categories please make sure to check below standards aswell. 

  • We accept new or new like second hand items which have been washed. 
  • Items with tags
  • Good quality Vintage items
  • Premium products we like (see more here) 
  • On trend and in-season items – purchased in the past 5 years
  • Original products (meaning no counterfeits)

What we do not want to put on the platform?

Please check product categories here. Within the categories please make sure to check below standards aswell.

  • Counterfeits (check Privacy Policy to know more about your responsibility) 
  • Any items showing rips, tears, pilling, fading, shrinkage, or blemishes of any kind, holes, marks, stains, odors.
  • Items that have been shrunk, stretched, altered by any ways or faded by overuse
  • Shoes: please check the top surface, interior, and soles to ensure they are clean and free of scuff marks.
  • Bras, underwear, slips, strings, socks, tights
  • Any item with violent or abusive content 
  • Items missing size information 

What happens to the items we do not upload for sales?

When you order the service, you can choose what you would like to do with the items not eligible for the platform. After 5 months of sales you will receive a reminder about your decision, from us to confirm what you want to do with your remaining stock. Please note, you have 5 days to reply, otherwise LiveRobe will accord to your decision at first place.

The items not eligible for sale, can have 4 different lives depending on the quality:

  • You want them back – in this case you will need to pay the delivery cost.The estimated cost is 1800 HUF but it is subject to change based on current shipment fees. In case you miss the payment 3 days after the reminder email the items go to charity.
  • We offer them to one of our charity partners.
  • You keep selling them for one more month for free
  • We recycle them (the items which are severely damaged) 
  • We upcycle them with the help of designers and create new products.

Please note: in case you want your items back, you need to pay for the shipment cost. We will notify you about the shipment cost and you will have 5 business days to initiate the transfer. If you miss the payment, LiveRobe has the right to decide on your items among the above mentioned ways without your further consent.

PAYMENT & SAFETY

What makes LiveRobe safe?

If you buy something on LiveRobe, it means all the items have gone through quality checks. Also, we have our own logistics system,  all the items you will be buying is sent out from our warehouse, not from the seller directly. That  is definitely safe. In case you are buying from our designer brand partners, and the item is damaged therefore you can get it for reduced price, you will see it always on the pictures.

You can always check your  balance on STRIPE via your STRIPE account. You also have the option to transfer the amount to your bank account. As the buyers have 14 days for returns, sellers will see the amount of the sales after 14 days from the purchase. The commission is automatically deducted from your balance.

What is the fraud payment policy?

Fraud cases of any kind can have legal consequences (police or court proceedings), and LiveRobe is always obliged to provide all the data to the police in these cases. How can I report a user or a product?

If you have experienced any fraud activity or any prohibited (obscene, sexual, and/or violent) content which may have legal consequences, you can block a user within the APP at the top of the user’s profile page. 

If you wish to report a user, you can always inform us about the situation vis email. team@liverobe.com 

Return and refund

If you have any problem with the delivered product, you are eligible to send it back to us. As by law, you are allowed to return the items within 14 business days. However the delivery fee is on you. With that we would like to encourage you to shop consciously or give them second life. For more information kindly check our Terms and Conditions

We will initiate the transaction within 2 business days after we have received the item.

AS A SELLER

How do I sell my products?

1 step: Pack the garments you don’t need or want anymore

  1. step: Book your GLS courier via the app and give them the package – you need to pay the service when you book the courier, this includes the shipping aswell and service for 5 months.
  2. step: When we have uploaded the pictures of your clothes to your profile, you have to tag them and price them. Please make sure to add as many accurate tags as possible, to make the search of your buyers easier. Also please give a fair price to your products to generate sales. Please note, you have 5 days to add price and tags to your items, otherwise we will do it for you for extra cost. In case we need to do it, we will charge 30% commission on each transaction instead of 15%.
  3. step: Sales can start! Your shop is ready. – You can boost your sales by promoting your items on instagram. You will find an easy way how to share your pictures on instagram. If you tag LiveRobe aswell, we can reshare your post/story.
  4. step: In case you want to offer some of your income to any of our charity partners, please make sure to select the one you would like to donate to and also indicate the amount. 

Kindly make sure to read our policy about what we accept for sale and we won’t accept. Make sure to accept these policies, and send your items accordingly. 

When you order the service, you can choose what you would like to do with the items not eligible for the platform. After 5 months, you will receive a reminder email from us regarding your stock. This will show you the items you could not sell. You have several opportunities what you can do with those. Make sure to read What happens to the items we do not upload for sales? part.

What are the seller’s fees and how am I charged?

When an item sells, LiveRobe charges a 15% fee on every transaction, Stripe 1,4% + 85HUF EU cards, 2,9% + 85HUF non EU cards. In addition when you order your package, you will pay the package fee right away.

This LiveRobe package fee you can see below. This amount includes the logistic costs of keeping your product for 5 months and also includes the delivery to your seller, and the delivery from you to our warehouse.

How do you notify me if I have sold an item?

You will receive an email from us, about the item(s) sold with the price and other details. The money will be on your  STRIPE account after 14 days, as buyers have 14 days for returns.

How can I donate to charities or organisations?

You have the option to offer some part of your selling price to any of our partners which are listed when you set the price for  your products. You can freely set the amount and also the organisation you are willing to help. It is an automated and easy procedure, made for you, to make donation as simple as possible. 

The document which proves that your money went to the organisation chosen by you, is available upon your request via team@liverobe.com

AS A BUYER

How can I buy products from sellers?

After finding a product that catches your eye, you can buy it immediately add to your basket. As we have a centralised warehouse, you can choose items from different sellers, and we send it to you in one package. 

You can pay by different cards. https://stripe.com/docs/payments/cards/supported-card-brands While going through the checkout flow, you have the option to choose to offer some amount to any of our charity partners. Obviously is not mandatory, however donation is always a good karma 🙂

How does the charity work as a buyer?

Once you are purchasing an item, at the end of the checkout flow you will have an automated process to offer the amount you wish to the organisation chosen by you. You can also plant a tree, that is an automated option aswell.

What is the difference between old LiveRobe & the new LiveRobe?

The old LiveRobe is a traditional marketplace model where anyone can easily sell and buy pre loved clothing and accessories. There we do not offer any services, you need to create your profile, make pictures of your items, and take care of the shipping on your own. We never touch the items, therefore there is no quality check in the system.
